Booking Terms 

all booking are subject to terms set out below 

We offer a no cancellation fee policy on all private hires

Please note that all cancellations must be made via any of our contact numbers  01709818686 and all messages must be left with a member of our staff

Hire Terms 

1.  In the event of a power cut or if the castle deflates, help every one off the castle, switch off the power and inform DB ENTERTAINMENT immediately on (01709) 818686

2.  You should reload balls used in conjunction with the castle, activity trailer or ball pool in the bags provided

3.  Extra charges may be made if the equipment is not available for collection on the agreed time or day.  Also an extra charge may be made if the equipment is not returned in a satisfactory condition.

4.  The hirer / attendant is responsible for the health and safety of all users.

5.  Adults are not allowed on the castle at any time unless it is designed for adults.

6.  No one is allowed on the inflatable while under the influences of alcohol and / or drugs.

7.  Definition of “child” is anyone under the age of 12 years.

8. Please DO NOT remove any rain/sun covers

 

THE HIRER OR ATTENDANT SHOULD:

Ideally be equipped with a whistle to attract the attention of users.  The system of work should ensure that the users are admitted to the inflatable in a controlled and safe manner.

ENSURE that all users remove their footwear (except socks), and any hard, sharp or dangerous objects from their person, such as buckles, keys, knives etc.  Spectacles are best removed.

ENSURE that no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable.  Also it is advised that pregnant women do not use the inflatable or any other equipment.  

ENSURE the users using the unit at the same time should be all of similar size and ability.

DO NOT allow any one to bounce or sit on the front step.

DO NOT allow any one to climb or hang on the walls.

DO NOT allow any one who is taller than the outside walls when standing on the inflated bed to use the unit.

DO NOT allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation.

DO NOT allow the unit to be used in heavy rain.  (Dry wetness with a towel before use)

DO NOT let the unit be over-crowded.

PREVENT careless or reckless behavior or intentional rough play, including colliding with other users.

 

DB ENTERTAINMENT DO NOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF USERS WHILST THE EQUIPMENT IS IN THE POSSESSION OF THE HIRER.

EXTRA COSTS WILL BE MADE FOR EQUIPMENT ON HIRE IF DAMAGED, LOST OR STOLEN.

NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO THE WEATHER.

I HEREBY AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS & CONDITIONS SET OUT ON THIS AGREEMENT.  

 

Method Statement for DB Entertainment

1. Inspect area inflatable will cover and remove any large stones or sharp objects

2. Check height area above for any restrictions. I.e. cables trees, lights

3. Lay ground sheet where necessary.

4. Lie out inflatable out and connect to electric/ petrol blower to the longest possible vent. Ensure the vent is not obstructed, bent or twisted then secure the remanding vents.

5. Secure one hanker point to secure the inflatable to the ground.

6.inflate the unit

7. Secure the remaining hanker points down using all metal stakes.

8. When erecting on hard surface, weights or sand bags must be used wherever possible ropes must be used to tie to any fixed object i.e. Fence posts.

9. Where necessary barrier fencing, rope or tape to be used to cordon areas of especially on public events.

10.When in use of petrol blowers/ generators

Barrier fence the complete area off from access to the general public.

Refills to be carried out to the manufactures recommendations turn the throttle into the stop position fill the tank cautiously using a funnel. Do not over fill.

No smoking, naked flames or sparks to be near area.

Not to be operated by any untrained person.

Make sure the fuel cap is secured firmly on the fuel tank.

Any reserve fuel to be stored in a safe secure well-ventilated area and in an approved container.

Petrol blower/ generators are for outdoor use only in well-ventilated areas.

A suitable fire extinguisher to be left on site in an easy accessible position.

11. Safety rules followed by HSE safety regulations to be given to the supervised operator.

  HSE PM 76 Summary

Suppliers/erectors responsibility

It is a condition of the policy under which the indemnity is being granted that the following inspection is carried out by the erector and such inspection should include-

a) All anchor points are intact and not damaged.
b) Anchor ropes are not worn or chaffed.
c) Anchor stakes and their location remain sound for continued use.
d) The wall to tower fixings are not torn.
e) There are no holes or rips in the surface or seams of the bed and step/front apron.
f) When fully inflated all walls and towers (when filled) are firm and upright and the pressure in the bed and step/front apron are sufficient to give a reliable and firm footing.
g) The blower has no exposed wires or lose bolts,screws ect and that the mesh guards over the air inlet and outlet are secured and intact.
h) Electric cables are not worn or chaffed and that plugs,sockets and switches are not damaged.


Hirers/supervisors responsibility

1) Ensure that all users remove their footwear (except socks) and any other hard,sharp or dangerous objects from their persons such as buckles,pens,purses etc. Spectacles are best removed.
2) Not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron.
3) Not allow anyone to climb or hang on the side wall.
4) Not allow users who are taller than the outside walls when standing on the inflated bouncing surface to use the device.
5) The operators should be proactive and use a whistle or other device and take action at the first sign of any misbehaviour.
6) Ensure that the equipment is not overloaded.
7) Larger or more boisterours children should be segregated from small ones and a number of users at any one time should be limited to that figure which allows each user enough room to play safely.
