This item is a Peavey Escort 2000 portable p.a. system. It includes a 150-watt powered mixer, 2x speakers, speaker stands and cables, microphone, mic lead and power cable.
This p.a. is ideal for small pubs and functions, and is best suited to quiet live music such as acoustic gigs or for DJs and public speakers, etc., especially if transport is a problem. The whole thing packs away neatly into a torpedo shaped case and has plenty of handles and wheels for dragging suitcase style. Size wise, when packed it fits easily into a mid-sized car boot.
The sound quality is very good, with a surprising amount of bass considering the small speakers, vocals sound natural and clear.
The mixer has a wide range of different input options including; 4x XLR mic inputs, 3x mono jack inputs and 1x mono/stereo jack input, stereo phono aux outputs, and phono inputs for connecting things like cd players etc. All 5 channels have independent treble and bass eq and reverb, and there is a multiband eq on the master channel for overall sound adjustment. Another useful feature is a red led on each of the eq bands that lights up when a particular band is feeding back to allow you to quickly and easily solve the problem.
