If you've got colleagues to entertain or visitors to engage, we've most likely supplied the kit for an event like yours before. Company fun days on Sheffield playing fields, exhibition stands at the NEC, Christmas parties in Manchester hotel suites, charity fundraisers, conference breakout rooms - corporate entertainment is what we spend most of the year doing. DB Entertainment has been hiring out games and inflatables from South Yorkshire since 1999.
We work regularly across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, and travel nationwide for larger corporate bookings. Venues we've supplied include the NEC and the Bullring in Birmingham, Manchester Central, the First Direct Arena in Leeds, and ExCeL and Wembley in London. The 25,000 sq ft warehouse just off the A1, M1 and M18 keeps most of England within a sensible day's drive, and 95% of the kit on this site is owned and stocked in-house rather than sub-hired.
One inflatable for an open day or twenty inflatables for a company fun day are both standard jobs for us. The grid below is the kit we list specifically for corporate and company events - well over a hundred items drawn from arcade games, exhibition games, rodeo bulls and multi rides, funfair rides, mega slides, assault courses, photo booths, laser quest and the rest of the catalogue. Most items hire out individually too, each with its own page and a green "Get A Quote" button.
Inflatables and rides built for grown-ups
Plenty of the kit on the grid is for adults as much as children. The 100ft Mega Assault Course with Base Jump (from £799) and the 220ft Bootcamp Assault Course (from £1,695) take grown-up weight, as do the 25x25ft Medieval adult bouncy castle (from £299), Water Zorbs (from £995) and the Rodeo Bull / Bucking Bronco (from £395). For team building, the Gladiator Challenge and Bungee Runs are reliable hires.
If your team is mixed in age or ability, book a spread rather than one headliner. The Disco Domes and Electronic Interactive Games need no fitness to play, the Batak reaction walls work for anyone who can reach the lights, and laser quest handles small teams inside an inflatable arena. Most corporate fun days we run have at least one low-physical option alongside the assault course.
Christmas, summer and themed parties
The seasonal kit is on the grid too. For Christmas parties we hire the Batak Snowball Smash (from £495), Whack a Snowman (from £495), mulled wine and hot chocolate machines (both from £895, with a server if you want one), Christmas market stalls and Santa's grottos. For summer socials the racing-game format goes down well - the Inflatable Grand National Horse Race (from £595), Home Stretch horse racing game (from £699) and the Horse Racing Package (from £595) all re-skin the same idea.
Becci hired the Saloon Bar Shoot-Out for a country-themed Christmas party and said it "really brought out everyone's competitive sides" - which is the kind of reaction rodeo and shooter games tend to get with corporate crowds.
Indoor venues, weather and power
A lot of corporate bookings are inside - hotel function rooms, conference halls, office atriums. Many of the games on the grid are indoor-only because they need a 13A supply or aren't waterproof, and that suits an indoor venue fine. For outdoor events in spring through to autumn the inflatables, slides and rodeo bulls all work on grass or hard-standing. If the weather looks ropey we can supply a marquee or gazebo to keep the game running through the rain. The big fairground rides - the 3 Deck Funhouse (from £3,950), Waltzer (from £2,995), Ferris Wheel (from £2,895) - need their own space, transport and staff, so these are quoted by the office per date rather than online.
Furniture, staging, PA and infrastructure
It isn't all games. We hire the practical kit too - deck chairs from £6.95, canteen folding tables, stage hire up to 6x6m, PA and music systems up to a 12K line array, generators and temporary power distribution, and other event infrastructure. If you're feeding staff, the hot dog machines, popcorn carts and the rest of fun food hire are easy adds.
Darren Dawson hired 200 chairs, a stage, sound equipment and heaters from us for a motivational speaker to address the whole company. "The guys turned up well in advance, set everything up and made sure I was happy before leaving site," he wrote. Multi-item corporate jobs like that are typical company work for us - one delivery, one set of risk assessments to email the venue, one team on the day.
Why corporate procurement teams book us
Significant corporate buyers ask the same questions, so here's the short version. We carry £5 million public liability. When we supply staff, indemnity-to-principal cover extends our insurance to you - which is the bit procurement teams tend to check for. Risk assessments and method statements are emailed to you or your venue before the event, not handed over on the day. About 95% of the kit listed is owned and stocked at the warehouse, so we're not phoning a third-party supplier when something needs swapping. We invoice with payment terms rather than taking full payment up front, which suits corporate budgets, and we can supply the same game or ride to several UK sites on the same day for clients running events in multiple locations.

Renting versus buying
We're a hire company, not a sales one - we don't sell the kit. The arithmetic explains why most corporate events end up hiring: buying your own games store means handling delivery, setup, supervision, breakdown, cleaning, maintenance, secure storage and insurance for each event, every year. For a one-off or annual corporate day, hiring removes most of that back office. Our full catalogue runs to about 600 products across 68 categories, so the kit tends to already be in the warehouse.
You don't have to be a corporation
Although we're set up for company and council work, the same kit hires out to small businesses, associations, scouts, school fun days, sports clubs, charities and private parties. If something on the grid catches your eye, it's bookable.
Booking, deposits and what's included
Most items below have a green "Get A Quote" button on their own product page; click it, add what you need, and the office comes back with an itemised quote the same day. Larger or logistically complicated items - the big rides, team building days, It's A Knockout events, multi-day exhibition runs - are quoted by the office per date, so for those use the enquiry form or call us on 0114 345 0135. A small deposit secures the date. Delivery, setup and end-of-day takedown are included as standard, and trained attendants are available to run physical games so your own staff don't have to.
