Soft Play and Ball Pool Hire

Soft play hire and ball pool hire for the under-eights, from £30 a set. The range runs from themed padded shape sets to enclosed inflatable play zones with ball pools and slides, and a nearly 30ft play bus for bigger spaces. Most of it goes out to village halls, church halls and community centres in Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley, and we deliver nationwide for larger bookings.

The inflatable play zones

Our three toddler play zones are all-in-one inflatable playparks built by Airquee, Europe's largest inflatable manufacturer. Low enclosed walls keep the little ones in one place, and inside there's a ball pool with the plastic balls included, a bouncy slide, soft play shapes and an air juggler that floats the balls up out of the ball pit for them to chase. The Toddler Play Zone and Large Toddler Play Zone have a mini bouncy castle inside as well; the Toddler Softplay Zone drops the castle and is aimed at the youngest, up to six. The Large Toddler Play Zone is the one we point people towards for the main hall at Dinnington Resource Centre. All three take up to eight children under 1m tall, need about 16ft by 20ft of floor with 6ft of headroom, and run off a single 13A socket. They're our busiest units for indoor parties in Rotherham and Sheffield.

Themed soft play shape sets

The Jungle Soft Play set is 18 padded pieces of mats, blocks, wedges and animal shapes, with Princess Soft Play and Pirate Boys Soft Play alongside it, all from £30 including VAT. No power, no fixed footprint, and the pieces can be arranged to suit the room. Mat colours can differ from the photos. These are the sets that went to a Bassetlaw District Council children's event at Costhorpe Park near Worksop and to Brecks Community Centre in Rotherham.

The Mega Jungle Play Bus

Mega Jungle Trailer/ Play Bus is our ultimate soft play. Nearly 30ft long over three levels, with a big ball pool, wobbly and twister slides down into it, a scramble net, roller squeeze, twister and spinner seats, and bish and bash mats. It takes ages 1 to 12, it's heated inside so it books all year, and we tow it to your site and set it up. From £495.

Ready-made packages

For a quick quote, the Toddler Soft Play Zone and Shapes Package pairs the Toddler Softplay Zone with a themed shape set from £149, and the Toddler Soft Play Package adds a 12x15ft bouncy castle for the over-fives from £199. If the older children need their own entertainment, the Garden Games Package or Side Games slot in alongside. Small add-ons like the Didicar and Space Hoppers show up in the extras list when you build your quote.

Good to know

• The play zones are children-only, max eight users under 1m, and an adult aged 18 or over must supervise throughout the hire.
• For corporate family fundays and bigger events we specialise in providing supervision for our inflatables and soft play sets, so a trained DB attendant can run the play area hands-free.
• Zones go indoors on hard floors or artificial grass, or outdoors on grass. They don't go on concrete, tarmac or wood chip. The play bus also takes hard standing such as tarmac.
• Zones need a 13A socket within 25 metres. If there's no mains on site, we can bring a generator.
• Overnight keep is an extra £25 on the play zones.
• Every inflatable is PIPA tested annually and built to BS EN 14960. Every hire carries £5 million public liability with risk assessments supplied before the event - we work closely with Sheffield City Council, Doncaster Metropolitan Council and RMBC, so council paperwork is routine.
