Carnival Games Hire in Sheffield, Rotherham and Across the UK
Our carnival games are American side-stall games, built in Texas, and most of them reward skill rather than luck. Roll a ball up a ramp and stop it rolling back at you, land a puck among ten flipping pins, toss a disc onto the scoring rings. They sit alongside the UK classics in our fun fair range, only with a bit more American carnival pressure on your aim.
The heart of the range came over from the States:
- Flap Attack - roll balls up a slope and hit the highest scoring flap before your ball rolls back down.
- King of the Hill - similar idea: roll for the high-scoring holes at the top while keeping your ball out of trouble.
- Roller Bowler - roll past two humps so your ball stops between them, which is harder than it sounds.
- Strike Zone - three pucks aimed at ten pins that flip up when knocked over.
- Whip n Skip - slide a disc into the scoring rings and beat everyone else's total.
- Maze Runner - a Crystal Maze style race to guide the ball through against the clock.
Round those out with the giant buzz wire, safe axe throwing, two Beat the Buzzer tables (one standard, one fully brandable), Spot on Challenge, carnival photo cut-out boards and a sign for dressing the row, and you can build a full games alley in one field or hall.
Free play, or run it as a fundraiser
No tokens or coins are needed unless you want them. Most events run free play all day. For fundraisers, one or two games can go in a set spot so guests pay per go and you collect the money for your cause.
Where they get hired
Corporate family fun days are the big one, often with the games running free alongside catering and a rodeo bull. Jayne, who hired funfair games for a summer work BBQ, said "the communication from start to finish was excellent." They also travel to trade shows and exhibition stands (the Spot on Challenge is aimed at stand duty), weddings, school rewards days and Christmas parties. We've been supplying event kit since 1999 and own around 95% of it in-house, kept in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. That puts us next door for Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Worksop, with our own trucks covering nationwide bookings. Every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance, and risk assessments can be sent to your venue before the day.
