Laser quest, laser tag, quasar: whatever you grew up calling it, this is the game where players stalk each other through a darkened inflatable arena filled with swirling fog. Our mobile arena is one of the most popular things DB Entertainment hires out, a massive hit with children and adults alike at everything from school fetes and scout events to big city festivals.
Pick two teams and battle, or run it as an all-versus-all free-for-all. The guns register hits electronically and keep score through the game, and a computer announces the winner when time is up. Sessions run up to four hours, so one booking gives everyone plenty of goes.
Children from around five and up can play, and it carries on through teenagers to adult teams. A few honest access notes: because the arena is dark with players moving around quickly, we cannot take players who are pregnant, wheelchair users, or anyone fitted with a pacemaker. Our attendant will happily talk through any medical concerns before someone steps inside.
The arena measures 12m by 12m, with mist and lighting options built in. Because the game creates its own darkness inside the inflatable, rain and colder weather will not stop play outdoors. It goes up just as well inside a large hall or exhibition space: outside it needs grass to anchor into, indoors it works on any flat floor, and hard standing can be possible with our bolt-down system at a small extra charge.
Staffed, insured and council-ready
Every hire comes with our fully trained staff, who set up, run and supervise the whole session, then pack everything away and leave your site clean. We supply all the relevant paperwork including £5 million public liability and current safety certificates, and we work closely with councils including Sheffield City Council, Doncaster Metropolitan Council and RMBC. Safety mats are available when needed.
Practical bits and booking
An electric blower is included. If there is no mains power on site, we can supply a generator or a petrol blower inc 4 hours fuel at extra cost. Hire starts from £599, delivered across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, with nationwide UK coverage as standard.
