The DIY PA is a Peavey Escort 2000 portable sound system offered at a massive discount when it's booked as an extra alongside other items. That means from £45 a day, or £25 more if you need it overnight. On its own it isn't discounted, so add it to a bigger booking and the offer price applies.
The kit is a 150-watt powered mixer with two speakers on stands, a microphone and all the leads. It suits small pubs, functions and halls, quiet live music such as acoustic gigs, DJs playing background sets, and public speakers. Vocals come through natural and clear, with a surprising amount of bass from speakers that size.
Everything packs into one torpedo-shaped case with handles and luggage-style wheels, small enough for a mid-sized car boot. It runs off a normal mains socket, and the DIY PA instructions walk you through setup. If you'd rather someone else minded the sound, we can quote for staff supervision on this or any other item.
We've supplied this PA with 200 chairs, a stage and heaters for a company-wide presentation, and it goes out with corporate summer social kits too. If 150 watts won't reach the back of your room, we also hire the 15" PA speaker (800W Bluetooth) and bigger rigs in our PA and music section.
