Gladiator Challenge Hire

Gladiator Challenge is our individual scored competition format - participants work their way round a circuit of activities and collect a score on each, then the scores go on a leaderboard and the overall winner takes a prize at the end. It's a different shape from It's a Knockout, which is team-versus-team. Gladiator Challenge is per person, split into categories (adult male, adult female, under-10s, 11-and-over), so it suits corporate family fun days and community events where you want everyone to have a go individually rather than in a team.

Each participant gets a scorecard like the one pictured. The activities on the card can be picked from across our range - the example includes Bungee Run (distance in feet), Rodeo Bull (time in seconds), Penalty Shootout (ball speed in mph), Mobile Climbing Wall (highest hold reached), and a Space Hopper speedway lap. Other activities in the grid below - Last One Standing / Wipeout, Hungry Hippos, Electronic Wheel of Fortune, Grab A Grand cash grabber, Batak reaction wall - can be swapped in to fit the venue, the age range, and the time you've got.

The format works best with a PA and a compère - they keep the scores going up on the leaderboard, keep participants moving between activities, and keep spectators involved. A full package comes with the activities, scorecards, PA system, compère, scoring desk, and winner's prizes, all run by our staff.

We carry £5 million public liability, deliver from our 25,000 sq ft Rotherham warehouse (5 minutes from the A1, M1 and M18) to venues across Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop, Chesterfield and further afield, and send risk assessments and method statements to your venue before the event.
