Walking Tubes

Walking Tubes team race

Walking Tubes are an It's a Knockout race where each team straddles a 9ft inflatable tube, grips the straps and tries to move together. If one person walks or bounces out of time, the whole tube slows down. The first team across the finish line wins.

The standard hire includes a red and a blue tube for a head-to-head race. We can supply up to four tubes for larger school fun days, Scout events, corporate team building and sports days. The live setup can accommodate up to 32 people across four tubes, but tell us the ages and group size so we can confirm the right team format.

We have supplied Walking Tubes to Quarrydale Secondary School for larger activity days. They also went to Newark Showground for a Nottinghamshire Scouts event in May 2025.

Space and surface

Walking Tubes need a clear, level race lane with room beyond the finish line. The current suitability is indoor artificial grass, indoor hard surfaces or outdoor grass. Send us the available dimensions, surface, participant ages and group size so we can confirm the setup.

Delivery and documents

Nationwide delivery is available, with charges and minimum spends depending on the booking and postcode. We carry £5 million public liability insurance and can provide a risk assessment before the event.
