Air Hockey Hire

Air hockey is simple: two players, two strikers, one puck, and a cushion of air that lets the puck glide the length of the table. Ours are full-size commercial units around 7ft long, with a perforated aluminium playfield, full-perimeter LED lighting and a proper blower underneath, so the puck runs fast and true rather than dragging. Kids and adults can both play comfortably against each other.

Rallies last seconds rather than minutes, so the table turns over quickly and everyone queued up gets plenty of goes. That pace is why air hockey is such a regular booking for exhibitions and corporate events. It also suits conference breaks, staff Christmas parties, freshers fairs and wedding side games - we've had tables out at office team building days and wedding receptions across Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster.

Match your brand: the perimeter LEDs can be set to purple, green, amber or red to sit with your colour scheme, and the base takes a custom-printed skirt wrap. We've dressed the table for GitHub's stand at a major UK tech exhibition and for ETF Stream at the SEC in Glasgow, and it reads as part of the stand build rather than a machine parked in a corner. Before you book for an indoor venue, do check the room: the table measures 217cm x 122cm and you'll want standing space at both ends. It needs a standard plug socket nearby too, because the blower runs whenever the table is on.
