The Bounce A Ball Reindeer Racing game is the classic fairground Donkey Derby, the one you'll remember from holiday resorts and end-of-the-pier arcades, rebuilt as a Christmas reindeer race. Players bounce their balls up the sloped lane into the coloured target holes, and every ball that lands moves their reindeer along the track. The holes score different points, so a well-aimed ball pushes your reindeer further than a lucky one. Balls roll straight back down to the players, so the race keeps running without anyone fetching balls back.
Each cabinet has two side-by-side lanes under a curved backboard painted with Santa's sleigh flying over a snowy village, with SPRINT, DASH and RUN printed up the lanes. Bright LED lighting is built in, with a light row per player that climbs as you score, and the built-in PA speakers carry the sound effects. That light and sound pulls in spectators as well as players. Two people race head-to-head per cabinet, and we can run a second cabinet alongside for a four player race.
We've supplied it at indoor Christmas wonderland events with ice skating and other festive games, and it goes out regularly to Christmas parties and exhibition stands around Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley, with nationwide delivery across the rest of the UK.
