A 2kW low-glare infrared heater for hire, rated IP65 for indoor or outdoor use in any weather. The IR 2010 uses a short-wave infrared tube that cuts the bright red glare you get from cheaper patio heaters by around 80%, so it gives off full heat without washing out your event lighting or spoiling the mood at a candlelit wedding or an evening corporate reception.
Hire one for a marquee entrance, a smoking area at a conference, or a terrace bar that needs to stay open into the evening. The aluminium housing is rainproof and dustproof from every direction, so it can sit outside uncovered through rain or snow without coming in. We use these alongside our Gazebo Heaters and 3 x 3m gazebos for winter and autumn events where the guests need warmth more than they need another bouncy castle.
At 2kW it runs from a standard 230V plug socket with no special wiring. The 1.7m cable gives you some reach from the wall, and the adjustable bracket lets you wall-mount it or angle it from a stand to direct heat where people are sitting. It kicks out heat instantly with no warm-up time. The tube is rated for around 6,000 hours, so a week's hire is well within its comfort zone.
