The XL is the biggest of our start and finish gantries and our broadest published branding package: a freestanding metal truss structure we build in-house as a start line, finish line or event entrance. Our standard build spans 9.16m and stands just over 4m tall, and the final opening, height and footprint follow the route, site and clearances you give us.
Branding is the point of the XL. The artwork schedule has a 9.16m-wide top panel plus substantial panels down both legs, so an event name and a row of sponsor logos all get read properly. We can supply plain START or FINISH artwork, print custom panels to the sizes below, and store your panels free of charge between bookings so they're ready to go out again.
Our own crew builds and dismantles the gantry, indoors or out, on grass, concrete, hard standing, artificial grass or wood chip. Metal crowd control barriers, staging, PA, water distribution and event staff can be included through Staging Events. Risk assessments, method statements and our £5 million public liability documents can be with you before the event.
We work out of Rotherham, five minutes off the M1, and build these at events in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley and across the UK, with regular deliveries to the NEC in Birmingham, Manchester Central and ExCeL London. We can provide plain START or FINISH artwork, or prepare custom panels from your supplied design. Branded panels are stored by DB free of charge for future bookings. Prices are subject to VAT and there may be a minimum spend depending on your event location; we confirm both with your quote.
