This is our ex-hire 12x15ft bouncy castle for sale: a classic A-frame in purple, green and red, with a rain cover over the front arch and a built-in entry step. It's an Airquee 15x12 Unthemed e-range, PIPA tested (tag 39429, checkable on the PIPA website).
It has lived in our own hire fleet, maintained by our team and stored dry at the Rotherham warehouse. Jackie H hired from us and said her castle was spotless and in perfect condition. At £475+vat against around £895 for a new 15x12 A-frame from the same maker, ex-hire is a sensible way in, and you can view it by appointment before you buy.
Who buys it
Start-up hire companies adding a proven unit, schools, scouts and community groups around Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Worksop that run the same fete every summer, and families with the garden space. The PIPA tag means it's built for commercial use, not a domestic toy. If you hire it out, the HSE expects an annual inspection by a competent person, and an adult over 18 should supervise whenever it's up.

Running it
One 13 amp household socket within 25 metres powers the blower. No mains where you set up? We hire generators (this item needs a 240v/3kva set) and petrol blowers. It works indoors and outdoors: pegged on grass, or on hard standing with a minimum 163kg of weights per anchor. We can also drill and bolt the anchors into hard standing for you at £10 per inflatable. Keep it deflated in high winds, and an adult over 18 supervises it whenever it's inflated.
