Laser Quest Hire

We hire laser tag and Laser Quest arenas across the UK for corporate events, scouting events and family fun days, from £599 plus VAT. Our mobile version runs at almost any venue and brings the game directly to you; what it needs from you is the space, the right surface and a bit of power.

You'll hear the same game called laser tag, Quasar, Area 51, Hangar 51, Laser Storm, battle storm or an inflatable laser dome. They're all variations on the Laser Quest and Quasar games people remember from the 90s: infrared phasers, no projectiles, and a dark maze to hunt each other round.

Pitch black, by design

Players go into a 12m x 12m inflatable arena, a giant tent of linked tunnels and bunkers that's pitch black inside. Fog runs through it so you can see the beams fly. We can let natural light in for anyone scared of the dark, though that does rather defeat the object of Quasar.

Games run as team battles, reds against greens, or all versus all. The phasers are the latest set of Quasar guns we've bought, with digital displays and the scores run from a tablet at the entrance, and a member of our crew stays with the game for the full hire, typically four hours, so there's nothing for your own people to supervise.

Anyone from 5 years upwards plays, children and adults on the same scoreboard. Please tell us about medical needs in your group in advance, as players who use a wheelchair, are pregnant or have a pacemaker can't take part.

Where it can go

Outdoors the arena pegs down into grass. Indoors it goes on any surface, and we've pitched it in sports halls, school halls and atriums. Hard standing is sometimes possible with our bolt-down system at a small extra charge. Realistically, 12 metres square needs a field or a hall, so birthday parties and christenings only work where your venue or garden is a generous one.

We deliver from between Rotherham and Sheffield, five minutes from the M1, A1 and M18, so Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield are on the doorstep and the longer runs to Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London are easy. Like 95% of the kit on this site, the arena is our own equipment, maintained in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse, and every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance with risk assessments sent to your venue ahead of the day.

The Quasar is a fixture at Scout camps alongside the rest of our Scouts event hire range, and it regularly shares a gala field with the 9 hole crazy golf and Last One Standing (Wipeout) from our fun day range.
