Our giant square helter skelter - helta skelta, if you spell it the way it sounds - is a proper traditional funfair ride, not an inflatable. It's an 18ft square tower built from painted white metal and standing 45ft tall, with a normal staircase running up the inside and a red metal spiral slide wrapped around the outside. You climb the stairs inside the tower, step out at the top, and sweep round the chute all the way back down to the ground. We own two giant helter skelters: this traditional square one, and a round inflatable version for sites that need an indoor option.
Children and adults can both ride, and people rarely stop at one go - they come straight back to the stairs for another. At fetes and school fun days you can charge per go, run tiered pricing or sell all-day passes, the choice is yours. At 45ft it stands taller than just about anything else on the field, and being a real funfair build it has the look to match, right down to the hand-painted signage at the base.
One thing to plan for: because it's a built structure rather than a blow-up one, our crew needs around five hours to assemble it and around two hours to take it back down. It's an outdoor ride, so you'll need level ground with clear space to work around it during the build and nothing overhead.

Prices and Booking
From £1,595 plus VAT. There may be a minimum spend depending on your event location; we'll confirm that with your quote. For big events the slide can run over consecutive days, and with a traditional square helter skelter and a round inflatable one in the fleet we can cover two sites at once. Delivery covers Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Worksop from our base by the A1, M1 and M18, with coverage across the UK for larger packages.
