PA System Medium EV ELX Range

The medium EV ELX is our workhorse PA for venues that need more than a couple of compact speakers but not quite the full large rig. Two Electro-Voice ELX115 15" full-range tops sit on poles above two ELX118 18" subwoofers - the kind of rig that holds up for live bands, DJs, wedding receptions, school halls and corporate presentations.

Hired from £395 +VAT for the day, and the price covers:

• 2x ELX115 full-range tops with speaker poles or stands
• 2x ELX118 18" subwoofers
• Small 8-channel mixing desk
• Minimum 2 wireless microphones (handheld, head or lapel)
• MP3 player and wired microphones

Need more throw? Extra ELX115 cabinets are £25 +VAT each, booked in pairs. We own around 95% of the hire catalogue in-house, so the rig that arrives is the one we've maintained in our 25,000 sq ft South Yorkshire warehouse - not something subbed in for the day.

It runs on any surface - grass, concrete, hard flooring, indoors or out - and if there's no mains on site, we can pair it with a generator from our generator and safety equipment range. We've supplied this set-up for everything from a company-wide motivational-speaker presentation (200 chairs, stage and heaters alongside) to the Maltby Vintage Gala, where Darren P said we "provided an excellent PA for Jayne Darling and other artists to entertain the crowds throughout the day".
