Mapplewell and Staincross Village Hall is a charity-run community venue on Darton Lane in Mapplewell, between Barnsley and Wakefield. The main hall measures 20m x 8.8m with a 4m to 5m arched ceiling, fire door access for equipment loading, and a separate break-out room that works well as a catering area or green room. There are 40 free parking spaces on site.

That high ceiling and generous floor area make it one of the better halls in the Barnsley area for indoor entertainment. For children's parties, our disco domes and soft play sets fit comfortably, and you can add a prize crane or Whack a Mole for older children. The hall also takes our bouncy castles and bouncy castle and slide combos with ceiling height to spare.

For adult events, weddings, and milestone birthdays, we supply photo booths, magic selfie mirrors, rodeo bulls, and arcade games. The break-out room is a good spot for fun food stations like candy floss and popcorn machines, keeping the main hall clear for entertainment.

We are based in Rotherham, about 30 minutes from Mapplewell, and have been delivering to venues across South Yorkshire for over 25 years. Every hire includes delivery, setup, and collection, and we carry £5 million public liability insurance as standard. We own 95% of our equipment in-house, so there are no subcontractor surprises on the day.
