The function rooms
The stadium hires out a number of function rooms for events, parties, meetings and conferences, catering for anything from 40 to 300 people. The Chatsworth Suite looks out over the pitch, with two large screens for photos or presentations, and past bookings have ranged from wakes and retirement events to 18th birthday parties, 70s nights and school proms. Room sizes vary from hall-scale to boardroom, so our crew checks ceiling height and the route in from the car park before the day rather than on it. If you're planning a children's party in one of the suites, the castle has to clear the ceiling and the room's lighting, and we'll advise on the right size when you send the room details.
What we've delivered here
We've set up a deluxe Santa's grotto and a sky dancer for a Christmas event at the ground - the grotto built from our own frames and props, the sky dancer doing the job of a signpost from the car park. For children's parties in the suites, bouncy castles and soft play are the usual picks, with a slide added when the room has the run to take it, and a package covers the castle, slide and garden games in one booking. Every hire carries our £5 million public liability insurance, delivery, setup and collection, and risk assessments for the club's events team.
