Ecclesfield Community Sports Centre is based at Ecclesfield School on Chapeltown Road in north Sheffield, S35 9WD. Managed by Active8-Sheffield, the centre has several hireable spaces including a full-size sports hall with bleacher seating, the Lady Mabel Hall (which seats up to 374 with retractable seating and has its own stage), two gymnasiums, and outdoor pitches including a 3G football pitch. There is an on-site car park, wheelchair access, and changing facilities. The venue is less than a mile from M1 Junction 35, making it easy to reach from across South Yorkshire.

The sports hall is one of the bigger indoor party spaces in the S35 area. It comfortably fits our larger bouncy castles, disco domes, and soft play sets with room to spare. For older children and teenagers, a dance arcade machine, prize crane, or action games like sumo suits and gladiator duels work well in a hall this size. The Lady Mabel Hall's built-in stage makes it a good option if you want a photo booth or DJ setup as part of the event.

For outdoor events on the pitches or playing fields, we can supply assault courses, sport inflatables, and larger rides. We also hire PA systems and event extras like tables, chairs, and festoon lighting.

We are based in Rotherham, around 15 minutes from Ecclesfield, and regularly deliver to venues across the S35 postcode. Every hire comes with delivery, setup, and collection, plus £5 million public liability insurance as standard. We own 95% of our equipment in-house, so there are no subcontractors to worry about.
