As lockdown is still in place, DB Entertainment has been able to carry out jobs at base and check all our games and equipment.
Last week the team checked all our electronic, exhibition and arcade games. This meant getting out EVERY piece we have to see all were working correctly, all were clean and had the correct branding.
This day always allows the team to have a bit of fun by trying out every game and led to some ‘friendly’ competition.
The Atari pong saw the team create a mini tournament with winners going to the next round. The overall winner being Liam, although this was seriously contested. Liam can’t play real pong for toffee so not sure how that happened!?
The Batak is one of the most booked items DB have and the team are quick at setting up and checking the pieces. This reaction game saw Kane win a victory with 29 hits in 30 seconds! Kane is the youngest and tallest on the team so thinking this may have been an unfair advantage. No one would go as far as saying cheat…..
Carrying on with the reaction games, the team took each other on at Strike a Light. This game is in direct competition as you are putting lights out opposite and at the same time as your opponent. Quickest hands in the west, Kane won again with 197 hits in 30 seconds!
The Horse Racing Gold Cup is the game that is most fun but most tiring! Although you would think Kane may have won being the youngest, the hardest rider turned out to be big man himself, Deano. A defib was used afterwards but it was a fair and square victory.
After all being ‘seriously’ tested, DB Entertainment can confirm that all our equipment is ready to go out to our customers. All are working safely and available for hire.
We know how frustrating it is for everyone but as well as our hot tubs, our exhibition games are a safe and fun way of still being able to celebrate in your bubble.
