The Interactive Bungee Run is our two-lane bungee run, 12ft wide by 35ft long, with the interactive play system (IPS) added. Two runners clip into padded harnesses, take a lane each and sprint for all they're worth while the bungee cords drag them back. It's a high-adrenaline head-to-head and, like every bungee run, it's as hilarious to watch as it is to take part in.
IPS is what brings this one to life at bigger events. Light-up targets and an electronic scoreboard add real scoring and timing, with three different games to choose from, so the attendant can run leaderboards and head-to-head challenges through the day instead of one-off sprints. It's suitable for children and adults, and it's perfect for special occasions and fun days - birthday parties, school fun days, staff away days and Scout camps. John Green, from a Scout booking that included the run, said DB stands for Definitely Brilliant! 1st Class Service 1st Class People.
Every bungee run we hire comes with a fully trained member of staff who supervises and runs the game for the whole session, typically up to four hours, and longer if you need it. We'd strongly advise you not to book a bungee run from any company that doesn't send staff. Without proper supervision this activity is dangerous, and if an accident was to happen, liability may be argued.
Space, power and price
- The unit measures 35ft x 12ft and stands 10ft high, so allow 35ft x 15ft of clear, level space
- It goes indoors on hard flooring or artificial grass, and outdoors on grass or hard standing - not on concrete or wood chip
- It runs off a normal 13 amp socket within 25 metres
- From £395 plus VAT for four hours, attendant included
Not sure whether it fits your hall or field? Send us the measurements and we'll tell you straight before you book.
The classic Bungee Run and the knock-out Bungee Run Eliminator cover the same ground if you'd rather have the standard formats, and the bungee run hire page lists all three. If you want the same interactive play system in a smaller unit, look at the IPS Podium Challenge.
We've been hiring out of Rotherham for over 25 years, we deliver right across the region - Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield all covered - plus nationwide for larger bookings, and we work regularly with Sheffield, Doncaster and Rotherham councils, so the paperwork side is routine. Scout and youth groups get discounted Scouting rates, with the details on the Scouts event hire page.
