This giant digital timer is the big yellow LED clock we use for sports days, competition scoring, fitness challenges and any event where the hall needs to see the time at a glance. It runs in two modes - stopwatch that counts up to 99 seconds and remembers the best time on screen, or countdown on the 30sec, 1min, 5min or 10min presets.
It comes with a wired remote so your compere or marshal can start, stop and reset from beside the action without crowding round the unit, and the green seven-segment digits show the running time and the best time side by side. Some people search for it as a giant stopwatch or a giant countdown timer - same kit, same job.
It's a portable, carry-handle unit, so we drop it on a table, a stage or the finish line and it just works.
