Retractable belt queue posts for hire - the same kit people mean when they ask for a tensa barrier, a stretch barrier, a belt barrier or a queue stanchion. They're all the same thing. Each post has 2m of retractable webbing that clips into the next post to form a lane, with a built-in braking system so the belt draws back slowly rather than snapping, and a locking tape end so it can't be pulled loose by accident.

Our stock is the QueueWay Post - Tensator's economy crowd control barrier. The post and base come in black or a mirror chrome finish, on a heavy gauge steel shaft that won't dent or scratch like aluminium, on a full-weight 356mm diameter base with a full-circumference rubber floor protector to keep polish and tiles safe. Indoors and outdoors both suit them - grass, tarmac, concrete, artificial grass, wood chip, indoor hard floors - they go out to indoor reception jobs and outdoor exhibition entrances alike. They also queue the public neatly through staff screening: we supplied a run of these alongside walk-through metal detectors for an Amazon fulfilment centre staff entrance build-out, standard queue management work but at scale.

We've been hiring out event kit from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse near Sheffield since 1999, and 95% of what you see on the site is in-house stock rather than sub-hired - so the Luton van loaded with dozens of black posts really is ours, packed by our own events team rather than a stock library shot. £5M public liability insurance is held on every job.

Hire rates and minimums

The hire price is per post, with a minimum hire of 10 and a hire period of up to a week. A minimum delivery fee may apply depending on where the job is. Bulk hire pricing for a one-week hire:

• 1-25 posts - £7.50 each
• 26-49 posts - £6 each
• 50-74 posts - £5 each
• 75-99 posts - £4.50 each
• 100-149 posts - £4 each
• 150+ posts - £3.75 each

Long-term hire comes in from as little as £3 per post per week on a 13-week booking. We cover Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Worksop locally, then Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Reading and London on the regular runs, with weekly deliveries into the NEC, Manchester Central and ExCeL. Same-day, next-day or booked-in delivery to the rest of the UK mainland.
