We hire heavy duty round top mesh fence panels, each 3.5m wide by 2m high, with the foot and clips included in the price. It's the galvanised steel security fencing you see around building sites, car parks, marquees and event fields.
Most people know this kit as Heras fencing, after the Dutch manufacturer whose panels became the generic name for the whole product type. You'll also hear it called Harris fencing, temporary site fencing or anti-climb panels. They're all names for the same fencing.
The panels stand free on their feet, so they work on grass, tarmac, concrete, block paving or wood chip, indoors or outdoors. Typical jobs are securing a compound, fencing off a marquee build area, creating queue corridors and keeping vehicles and pedestrians apart.
We've supplied runs of these alongside our temporary fencing vehicle access gates, including 25 panels and a gate set for Amazon's LBA4 site in Doncaster on a long-term hire.
If you're planning a full perimeter, pair the panels with metal crowd control barriers where crowds gather, concrete jersey barriers where vehicles need separating, and road cones for traffic routing. Everything comes off our own fleet from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, with regular work across Sheffield, Barnsley, Worksop, Chesterfield and nationwide. We've been supplying event infrastructure since 1999 and every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance.
