Two extra hours of generator fuel
Every generator we hire out arrives with 4 hours of fuel in the tank as standard - enough for most weddings, fun days and school fairs. If your event runs longer, this add-on tops the tank up with 2 extra hours of fuel, supplied in a 20-litre metal jerry can. From £20.
For longer runtimes, step up to the 3-hour or 4-hour fuel add-ons. The fuel and the canister are the hirer's responsibility unless we supply a member of staff. Anything fuel-related must be stored in a secure, well-ventilated spot, out of direct sunlight - we walk you through storage and refuelling in the handover on the day.
Generators are serviced regularly, but for long or critical events we strongly recommend a backup generator on site too - we hire these at a reduced rate alongside your main unit. We deliver across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, and nationwide for larger bookings, with safety fencing and fire extinguishers as standard on every generator that goes out.

How to add this
Start a quote on any main hire item, then open the Extras list inside that quote flow and pick Generator and Safety Equipment from the drop-down. The 2-hour fuel top-up sits alongside our 3-hour and 4-hour options.

A backup generator
Our generators are serviced and well maintained, but for long or critical events we strongly recommend a backup on site. We hire these at a reduced rate as a second unit alongside your main one - ask us when you book.
