This add-on extends the runtime on any DB-hired generator by topping up with another four hours of fuel. Every generator we send out ships with enough petrol for around four hours' running - fine for most school fun days, birthday parties on fields, fetes and short corporate events - but if your day runs over, this is the extra fuel that keeps the lights, PA or inflatables running.
Supplied as a filled 20-litre metal jerry can - cam-lock closure, recessed X-braced reinforcement on the side panels - priced from £40 per generator. Shorter extensions are available: Extra 2 Hours at £20, Extra 3 Hours at £30. Delivery runs across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and the rest of the UK.
The fuel and the canister are the hirer's responsibility unless we supply a member of staff. Any refuelling equipment must be stored in a secure, well-ventilated designated area away from direct sunlight. This is a flammable liquid, so the kit gets the same care as the rest of the stock: £5 million public liability cover, risk assessments sent to your venue beforehand, trained DB crew handling delivery, setup and breakdown.

The full generator and safety equipment range covers diesel generators from 5kVA up to 30kVA, plus bowsers, distribution, lighting towers and safety fencing.

- UK HSE guidance allows up to 30 litres of petrol to be stored on non-workplace premises in approved containers without notifying the local Petroleum Enforcement Authority
