Giant Skis team race
Giant Skis turn a short race into a coordination test. Each team stands on a pair of long wooden skis, puts their feet in the separate positions and holds the ropes. Everyone has to lift the same ski and step at the same time or the team stops moving.
Also called team skis, centipede skis or a giant ski race, this works as a head-to-head activity at corporate team-building days, school sports days, Scout events and It's a Knockout programmes. We can add a DB team member to explain the activity, organise the heats and supervise the race.
We supplied Giant Skis to Barnsley College's Honeywell Campus in April 2025 with Giant Operation, Maze Runner, Strike a Light and other games. They also went to Amazon's LBA5 site in Leeds in July 2024 as part of a five-game event.

Space and surface
Allow a clear, level race lane with room beyond the finish line. The current suitability includes indoor artificial grass, indoor hard surfaces and several outdoor surfaces. Send us the available dimensions and surface so we can confirm the layout for your venue.
Delivery and documents
Nationwide delivery is available, with charges and minimum spends depending on the booking and postcode. We can provide a risk assessment before the event if your school, company or venue needs one.
