9 Pod Colour Maze (Interactive Play)

Our 9 pod colour maze is for sale. It's a Better Bounce build: nine joined inflatable pods in bright colours, linked by crawl-through tunnels, 30ft x 30ft across and 10ft tall. Inside there's comfortable standing room for grown-ups, so it takes adults as happily as children. It's the kind of unit that suits a soft play centre or SEN setting particularly well.

So why sell? Stock rotation. Most of our bookings come from corporate event hire, and after around seven years in the fleet (seeing very little action, give or take the odd booking) it makes sense to move it on to someone who will use it properly. In feel it sits closer to our soft play and ball pools range than to any single castle, and the colours and internal lighting still look sharp.

Ways we've used it

• Filled the middle with balloons and let a birthday party loose in there
• Set a few rooms out with beanbags or inflatable chairs as a chilled lounge area for adults
• Ran it as a Nerf arena with the safety netting that encloses the whole structure
• Added music to the lighting, which changes the mood completely - ask us about PA hire if you want sound sorted too

Its bigger outings were proper events. At one Scout group's anniversary celebration it played its part in keeping 80 young people busy through a four-hour activity programme alongside a bouncy castle and an assault course from our fleet. The organiser gave us five stars afterwards:

"we needed to entertain 80 young people so the stakes were high. Delivery was perfect and in time and thanks to DB not one Scout, Cub or Brownie failed to have a brilliant 4 hours of activity on the 4 pieces hired." Ken Ellis said.

• Blowers are not included - ours are £50+VAT separately
• Sold without a current test certificate, so book an inspection before charging the public to play on it
• Collection from our Rotherham unit (postcode S66 8JP) - Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Worksop and Chesterfield are all close enough to drive over for it
• Further afield, we can pallet it to anywhere on mainland UK for £65+VAT
