This huge monster of a slide is one of the biggest things we put out on hire - 24ft to the top of the slide platform, around 30ft long and 20ft wide, and a proper climb to get there. You fight your way up the obstacle course on the front, ducking and climbing the blocks with the help of the built-in ropes, then come flying back down the slide. It isn't a back-garden castle; it's a centrepiece for the days when ordinary isn't enough.
It comes into its own at public events, corporate family days, school rewards days, charity days and the bigger end of the private party market - the kind of event in Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster or Barnsley where you want one inflatable that everyone queues for. Children and adults can both use it (just not mixed at the same time), and it goes up on grass or hard standing, indoors or out, but we won't stand it on concrete, wood chip or a grass-and-hard mix.
Because of the scale of this one we take the safety side seriously and we'll need specific details about where it's going - access width, surface, headroom and a clear run to the pegs. It's PIPA tested annually (tag 45486), with 27 anchor points, a 24mph maximum operating wind speed, and adult supervision on it at all times. When it goes on hard standing we use weighted ballast to the PIPA minimum rather than pegs.
We own this kit outright - 95% of what you see on the site is in-house at our 25,000 sq ft Rotherham warehouse, five minutes off the A1, M1 and M18 - so what you book is what turns up, not something sub-hired from a third party. Every hire carries £5 million public liability, risk assessments and method statements emailed ahead to your venue, and the same delivery team from set-up to pack-down. Power
Runs off a normal 13 amp single household socket within 25 metres of where the slide sits, with the two Gibbons blowers we bring along. If there's no mains on site, we can supply a 240v / 3kVa petrol generator - see our generator hire list for current rates.

Users
Up to 8 users at once for children up to 1.5m tall, dropping to 6 for anyone 1.5m-1.8m. Children and adults can both use it, but not at the same time.
