The Chauvet DJ EZLink Par Q4BT is the smaller sibling of our EZLink Par Q6BT ILS uplighter: 4 quad-colour (RGBA) LED chips instead of 6, in a smaller and lighter housing. It still has the amber channel that gives you proper warm hues and natural skin tones instead of the slightly synthetic look plain RGB gives, which is why these get hired for weddings, entrances, awards dinners and corporate room theming.
Battery-powered and Bluetooth-controlled, the Q4BT runs up to 8 hours on a charge with everything on, or up to 20 hours on a single colour - plenty for a full evening. Recharge is 7 hours, and the fittings come out charged.
Control is the BTAir app on your smartphone or tablet over Bluetooth 4.2 (150ft / 45.7m range), with no DMX desk needed. For larger shows take DMX (4 or 8 channels, 3-pin XLR) or sync multiple fittings with the IRC-6 handheld remote. Sound-activated and automated programs are also built in for instant effects.
This is the uplighter to pick when you have a tight gear budget, a smaller room, or need to physically hide the fitting behind furniture or drapes - the 145mm cube is genuinely small. The 34-degree field angle is wider than the Q6BT's 30 degrees, so each fitting throws a wider wash - good for uplighting walls rather than pin-spotting columns.
