Wooden stocks and wet sponge game
One willing volunteer puts their head and hands through the openings in the freestanding wooden stocks. Everyone else takes aim with wet sponges. We supply the stocks, a large bucket and sponges, and you supply the water and towels.
Also called medieval stocks, sponge-throwing stocks or a soak-the-teacher game, this is a simple fundraiser for school fairs, charity days and community events. Organisers can charge for a set number of throws, while company fun days can put a manager or colleague in the firing line.
We supplied these stocks to Stonelow Junior School with an assault course, giant snakes and ladders and event staff. They have also gone to Amazon events as part of larger fun-day and carnival-game packages.

Plan the throwing area
Allow clear space in front of the stocks and mark a throwing line suitable for your players. Choose an area where water and wet sponges will not create a slip problem. For indoor use, check that the venue permits it and agree how you will protect and dry the floor.
Delivery or collection
Nationwide delivery is available, with charges and minimum spends depending on the booking and postcode. Warehouse collection can be arranged subject to photo ID and a deposit. We can provide a risk assessment before your event if the venue needs one.
