Children's sumo suits are the smaller version of our adult sumo suits, sized for kids. Two players climb into oversized padded suits, put on their helmets, and try to wrestle each other off the padded mat. The padding absorbs any falls.
We supply the suits with crash mats. They need a 15ft x 15ft flat area and no power, so they work indoors on a hall floor or artificial turf, or outdoors on grass and hard standing. One thing to plan around: we don't set them up on bare concrete, wood chip or a mixed grass-and-hardstanding surface, and shoes come off before anyone steps on the mat.
These are children-only. For grown-ups we hire adult sumo suits at the same price point, and kangaroo boxing (from £199) if the adults fancy oversized gloves instead. For a mixed-age event, just add both sets of suits to your quote.
Children's sumo suits go well alongside a disco dome, a bouncy castle, or jungle soft play for the younger ones. Older kids can race the bungee run or take on the inflatable climbing wall. Staffing
A responsible adult (18+) must supervise at all times. We can supply a trained attendant if you'd rather not run it yourself - ask when requesting your quote. The suits are warm work, so plan short bouts and keep water nearby.
Pricing
From £149 including VAT for the day. Overnight hire is a £25 flat fee across all items on your booking, selected in the extras section.
