Darfield Community Centre is a volunteer-run venue on Illsley Road in Darfield, about 4 miles east of Barnsley and 15 minutes from Rotherham. The centre has been serving the village since 1975 and has a main hall, a bar lounge with a licensed bar, a meeting room, and two kitchens. The rooms can be opened up to create a larger space for bigger events. There is a free car park at the side of the building with no height barriers.
For children's birthday parties, our indoor bouncy castles and disco domes fit the main hall well. You can add soft play sets for toddlers, or Whack a Mole, prize crane, and side games like giant Jenga for older children. The bar lounge makes a good food and drinks area while the main hall is set up for entertainment.
For adult parties and family celebrations, we supply photo booths, magic selfie mirrors, arcade games, and fun food machines for candy floss and popcorn. The licensed bar means you can run an evening function with drinks on-site. Please note the venue currently closes at 10pm.
Darfield is on the A633 between Barnsley and Rotherham, well within our core delivery area. All hire includes delivery, setup, and collection. We carry £5 million public liability insurance and all equipment is PAT tested. Call us on 0114 345 0135 or get in touch to put together a package for your event at Darfield Community Centre.
