Castle Park on Armthorpe Road, Doncaster, DN2 5QB is the home ground of Doncaster Knights Rugby Club, the most promoted club in English rugby history. It's 22 acres of parkland next to Sandall Beat Wood, about four miles from the city centre, with nine modern event suites, licensed bars, an on-site chef and free parking. The Millennium Suite seats 350 theatre-style, the suites have private bars and balconies overlooking the pitch, and there are executive boxes up in the De Mulder Lloyd Stand. Weddings, corporate events, conferences, Christmas parties and private celebrations all run here through the year.
We've supplied equipment to Castle Park on several occasions, mainly for corporate fun days and team building events. The grounds have room for the big outdoor kit, including a 100ft assault course, the mobile climbing wall, a rodeo bull, adult sumo suits, and the wider set of team building games. With 22 acres to work with, you can run several activities at once without everything being on top of each other.
The indoor suites suit Batak Pro reaction games, magic selfie mirrors, 360 photo booths, and arcade games for evening functions, conferences, and wedding receptions. A candy floss cart or popcorn cart with staff keeps guests fed between activities.
Our warehouse is in Rotherham, about 20 minutes from Castle Park via the M18. We carry £5 million public liability insurance on every hire and can send risk assessments and insurance certificates to the venue in advance. We own 95% of our equipment in-house, so there's one team handling your enquiry, delivery, setup and collection.
