Magna is the science adventure centre built inside the former Templeborough steelworks on Magna Way, Rotherham (S60 1DX), and its events side is something else: 4,000 square metres of industrial event space under the original steel frame, with room for up to 3,500 guests or dinner for 400. It sits next to Junction 34 of the M1 and Meadowhall, one of the easiest big venues in South Yorkshire to reach.
Our warehouse is in Rotherham, so Magna is one of the shortest runs we do, and our booking records show regular deliveries to events on and around the site, including a Macmillan Cancer Support fundraising event at the centre. The building gives you rare options: huge indoor floor space for inflatables and games whatever the weather, and outdoor ground for the bigger kit in summer.
Indoors, the hall takes bouncy castles, assault courses and interactive games, and corporate evenings work well with a rodeo bull, arcade games and photo booths to keep guests moving between the pavilions. For outdoor events on the site, mobile climbing walls and funfair stalls fill the space, and side games like giant Jenga suit family audiences. Our in-house branding team can wrap games in your artwork for corporate and charity bookings.
We've been hiring out event equipment since 1999, everything comes in our own vehicles with our own setup staff, every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance, and our 5/5 Google rating comes from over 200 customer reviews. Risk assessments and method statements go to the venue or organiser ahead of the day. Add what you need to your quote and we'll come back the same day, or get in touch to plan the event with us.
