Last week DB Entertainment had one of it’s rarest of calls during lockdown………… a booking for some exhibition and arcade games!
Although this is our bread and butter, with lockdown and the inability to have parties, bookings for our exhibition games have obviously dropped. We were very excited to be able to get back to normal! This particular booking was also for a Youtube star living in South Yorkshire - Morgz!!!
After watching some of his videos, we got to work putting together a package that we knew would be covid secure and meet all his requirements for creating an arcade room. We also knew it would be an opportunity for our team to become Youtube stars themselves! Even thought their faces were faded out, you can see early on in the video our team unpacking the arcade games from our vehicles and setting each game up in the arcade room.
The result is here. A video with over half a million views within a week!
We chose some of our top games that would look great on video and would have a bigger impact when on camera. They also needed to have a competitive element. All the arcade games provided met these requirements and the feedback from Morgz was brilliant.
You can see from the video we were able to provide quite a few games to create Morgz’s arcade room. We have The Vault, Popcorn Machine, Candy Floss Machine, Prize Crane Grabber, Dance Machine, High Striker, Car Racing, Retro Arcade Machine and our Backdrops for decoration.
All these machines can be made covid secure and are all available for hire from DB Entertainment. You can see from the video the fun and competition they can create, particularly for private parties during our lockdown.
