Giant Helter Skelter Slide

The giant inflatable helter skelter stands 22ft tall with a 15ft slide platform, and it's one of the biggest inflatable helter skelters you can hire in the UK. Riders climb the internal staircase inside the striped lighthouse-style tower, then sweep down the spiral chute on the outside. It covers a 27.6ft x 22.1ft footprint and takes up to four riders at a time at staggered heights, so the queue keeps moving even at busy events.

We own two giant helter skelters, this round version and a square version, which matters if you're running back-to-back bookings or events on two sites at once. Both are kept at our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham and set up by our own trained staff, never subcontracted out. Indoors as well as Outdoors

Unlike a traditional fairground helter skelter, which needs outdoor space and hours of assembly, the inflatable version works indoors on hard floors or artificial grass as well as outdoors on grass. Outdoors it has to be pegged down, so tarmac and hard standing are out, but indoors the inflatable walls contain the unit. That opens up exhibition halls, indoor arenas and venue-based corporate events that a 50ft wooden tower simply cannot reach, and setup is measured in minutes rather than hours.

PIPA Tested and Fully Insured

The helter skelter is made by inflatable manufacturer Airquee. It's PIPA registered (tag 40630), independently inspected every year by RPII-certified inspectors, and built to BS/EN14960. Every booking is covered by our £5 million public liability insurance as standard, with risk assessments and method statements provided, and the tag number can be checked on the PIPA website.

How the Ride Works

Riders come in through the base, climb the internal steps to the 15ft platform, then sit and slide around the outside spiral chute to the bottom. Each run takes around 20 to 30 seconds, and with four riders on the slide at staggered intervals the throughput holds up at large events. A trained member of our team supervises the helter skelter for the whole hire, managing the queue and helping riders at the top. You don't need to provide your own stewards.
