The Pillow Bash - sometimes called a pole joust or pillow wars - is a two-player inflatable where both contenders sit astride a raised padded pole and try to knock each other off onto the bed below with oversized padded pillows and pugil sticks. Two black protective helmets with face cages and a pair of safety mats come as standard.
Children and adults can both play. Like all our inflatables it needs a responsible adult supervising throughout, which we can supply if your event has no one suitable. It works on grass outdoors or any flat surface indoors.
We get asked for it for everything from 10th birthday parties to corporate fun days. Diane Else, who hired it with our rodeo bull for a 10th birthday party, said "You were punctual, had excellent communication skills and the staff on the day were awesome." We've also run it at large-scale bookings like a 4,000-strong Scout and Guide camp in Nottinghamshire alongside assault courses, climbing walls and trampolines.

Footprint & power
- Unit size: 15ft x 15ft footprint.
- Safe working area: 18ft wide x 18ft long x 8ft high - includes blower, anchor points and safety margins.
- Power: a normal 13 Amp single 240v socket within 25 metres of where you want it set up.
- No power on site? We can supply a petrol blower or diesel generator - this unit needs a 3kVA source. See generators and safety equipment.

Not suitable for outdoor use on concrete, tarmac, wood chip or a grass / hard-surface mix - the unit is pegged down on grass or weighted with sandbags indoors.

Overnight hire is available at an extra £25 - that's a one-off per property, so you can hold multiple items overnight for the same £25. You're responsible for keeping all hire equipment safe while it's in your possession during the hire period.
Supervision
Every item DB supplies must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. If you can't provide your own supervisor we can supply a trained event attendant - add one to your enquiry when you get a quote.
Larger bookings
Prices are subject to VAT at 20% and a minimum spend may apply depending on your postcode. For multi-item or large-event bookings, get in touch and we can talk through a site meeting or purchase order.
