Everyone already knows how limbo works, which is half the reason it goes down so well at parties. Two posts, a crossbar, and the bar drops lower each round until only one person is left standing. Our giant version is built for grown ups as well as children, so the whole party plays rather than watching from the side.
There's nothing to plug in and nothing to inflate, so it works on grass, hard standing or indoors without any fuss. That makes it a good fit for gardens, village halls, school fields and wedding receptions. Children treat it as a race; adults get quietly determined, and round about the fourth drop of the bar you find out who has been practising.
At £49 including VAT, giant limbo usually travels out as part of a bigger order, because delivery carries a £50 minimum spend. It pairs well with giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4 and giant snakes and ladders, and we've sent it out alongside hot tubs and disco domes for garden parties. A run of side games keeps guests busy between the main attractions at a fun day.
We've been hiring out event kit since 1999, everything is owned and maintained in-house at our 25,000 sq ft warehouse near the M1, and every hire includes £5 million public liability insurance. Giant limbo is an add-on rather than a standalone booking, so there is no quote button on this page. Practical Details
- Price: from £49 including VAT (£40.84 excluding VAT). Overnight hire is available for an extra £25.
- What's included: the full limbo set, delivered, set up and collected by our own drivers.
- Power: none needed - there's nothing to plug in.
- Surfaces: suitable indoors on hard floors or artificial grass, and outdoors on grass or hard standing. Not suitable on outdoor concrete or wood chip.
- Players: children and adults. Players go under one at a time and drop out as the bar lowers, so any group size works.
- Space: a clear strip a few metres long is plenty, with room either side for people waiting their turn.
- Minimum spend: delivered orders carry a £50 minimum spend plus delivery cost, so giant limbo is usually added to another hire. Collection from our Rotherham warehouse is possible instead, subject to a deposit and photo ID.
