Giant Snakes and Ladders

Our 8ft x 8ft Deluxe Giant Snakes and Ladders is a floor-mat version of the board game, with a 10x10 numbered grid, four coloured foam counters and an oversized soft foam die. Up to four players can join in, and the four padded panels unfold straight onto the floor.

It's suitable for both children and adults, and that's reflected in how it actually gets booked. It goes out mainly for school fun days, wedding receptions, corporate family days and village fetes, usually as part of a giant garden games set alongside our Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga and Giant Limbo.

The mat is wipe-clean padded EVA foam over four folding panels, so it rolls up for the van and lays flat in a hall or on a lawn. It works indoors on hard floors or artificial grass, and outdoors on grass or hard standing. It isn't suitable for bare concrete, mixed grass-and-hard ground, or wood chip, which is worth knowing before you pick your spot.

We supplied Giant Snakes and Ladders to a company fun day in Doncaster alongside Beat the Buzzer, the six-bed trampolines, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Space Hoppers and a Penalty Shootout. Deborah Young said the team "have been a help from start to finish" and were "chatty and welcoming to all our staff and their families".
