Human Table Football

Human Table Football is the pub foosball game scaled up to a full-size pitch. Two teams of five strap into waist belts hung from ropes across the inflatable, and the belts only slide side to side - you take the place of the small plastic players in the original game. Wing play on any pole is decided by whoever's on it with you, not your feet, and the game tends to give more of a stitch from laughing than from running.

It's one of the most competitive games on our sport games list and a team building favourite. Corporate groups hire it for fun days and away days, schools run it on sports days, and weddings and private parties book it whenever there's enough flat grass. Children and adults can both play, which matters for a mixed-age crowd.

One thing worth knowing before you book: the pitch has to go on grass. We can't set it up on tarmac, concrete, artificial turf or any hard standing, because the inflatable pegs into the ground to be safe. If the weather isn't playing ball the day before, the office will be in touch about a wet-weather plan.
