The cones on our hire fleet are JSP RoadHog 500mm one-piece moulded cones - the proper solid kind, not the cheap two-part ones that snap or part company with their base after a season. We hire them in batches of 100, and the listed price covers a batch of 100 for up to a week.
They're made from 100% recycled PVC with a high-visibility painted top, and each one comes with a Sealbrite R1B reflective sleeve that meets EN13422, so they hold their visibility in low light instead of fading into the background. There's a 360° hand grip moulded into the top, which makes them easy to carry in bulk and gives you somewhere to clip barrier tape or chain.
What they're for
Site parking, lane closures on private land, marking off plant and cables, queueing traffic at event entrances, keeping footfall out of setup areas. They're the sort of thing that doesn't get noticed until you haven't got any, and then the marshalling falls apart. Because they're heavier and one-piece, they sit where you put them on grass, tarmac, concrete, wood chip or indoor hard floor without toppling the moment a van drives past.
Quite a few customers pair them with our plastic chain and cone chain holders to run a proper taped-off lane rather than a broken line of cones. If you're laying out a full site, they sit alongside metal crowd control barriers, Heras temporary fencing and Tensa belt barriers - or safety fencing around a generator. They're the standard companion for anything in the generator and safety equipment range.
Where we deliver
We run cones out of the warehouse in Sheffield to local events across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, and we ship them nationwide - regular runs down to the NEC in Birmingham, Manchester Central, ExCeL London and Telford, plus one-off drops anywhere there's a date. The hire rate covers up to a week, and we discount for longer-term hire if you've got a fit-out or a multi-weekend run.
