The iColor 4 is a four-lamp colour wash light - a compact, versatile alternative to traditional par cans for stage, cabaret and event lighting. Four 500W halogen lamps sit behind heat-resistant dichroic filters in red, blue, green and yellow, so each unit throws four separate colour washes that can be mixed, chased or held static. Hire one to uplight a stage backdrop, a pair to colour-wash opposite walls of a venue, or a row of them for a full cabaret lighting rig.

Control is via 4-channel DMX, with channels for pre-set colours, chase selector, chase speed and a master dimmer. You can run them from a lighting desk, or use the optional CA8 or CA8F foot controller for master/slave and independent mode operation - handy for a band or a DJ who wants to trigger chases without leaving the stage. Fan cooling keeps the unit running steady through a long set.

Each unit comes with barn doors on the front for directing the light precisely where you want it, and the 2-way bracket allows stand mounting or floor placement. At 7kg and 450 x 270 x 175mm, one person can rig and angle a unit quickly - it is a proper workhorse rather than a delicate fixture.
