Whiston Manorial Barn is a Grade II* listed venue on Chaff Lane in Whiston, Rotherham. Dating from the early 13th century, it is believed to be the oldest agricultural building in Yorkshire. The original cruck-frame timber construction and thatched roof give it a distinctive character that makes it popular for weddings, milestone birthdays, Christmas parties, and corporate functions. The barn has two rooms (one for ceremonies, one for dining), a bar area, and in-house catering. It seats around 100 for a formal meal or holds up to 150 for a less formal event. There is parking at the rear and level access at both entrances.

Please note that the venue does not host children's birthday parties or 18th/21st celebrations. This is an adult-event venue, and the equipment we supply here reflects that. For wedding receptions and evening parties, our photo booths, magic selfie mirrors, and AI photo booths are popular choices. We also supply arcade games, Batak Pro reaction games, 9 Pod Colour Maze, side games like giant Jenga, and Didicar racing.

For food extras alongside the barn's in-house catering, we provide candy floss machines, popcorn machines, and other fun food options. The thatched roof means no fireworks or lanterns, and the bar closes at 11pm with music finishing by 11:30pm.
