Clifton Park is Rotherham’s flagship park and it hosts the town’s biggest events. The park holds Yorkshire’s largest free play area, 18 holes of mini golf, a fun park and Clifton Park Museum, and the open ground, Walled Garden and bandstand are available to hire for festivals, fun days, charity events and school parties. Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council runs the events calendar here, and we’ve been working on it for years.
Our jobs at the park cover the full event build. For festival weekends staged in the museum grounds we’ve supplied 6m x 8m trailer stages, a full line array PA, monitors, sound engineers, a stage manager and the generators to run the lot. For St George’s Day and council fun days we’ve put in the Giant Helter Skelter, giant garden games, the 9 Hole Mini Golf, staging, PA and power. We’re also a repeat supplier to Rotherham Council’s events team for stage hire, barriers and PA across the borough.
So if you’re booking Clifton Park for an event, you’re dealing with a team that already knows the site: the access off Clifton Lane, where the vehicles go and how long setup takes. funfair rides, rodeo bulls, climbing walls, giant games and generators all come from our Rotherham warehouse about ten minutes away, and every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance with risk assessments supplied in advance for the council’s paperwork.
