The site at Woodbourn Athletic Stadium on Stadium Way, just off the A6102 in Attercliffe, is now run by Leisure United, a charitable trust that took the venue over from Powerleague. There are six all-weather 5G football pitches with caged 7-a-side pitches, a gym and café bar, and a meeting room available to hire, with free parking on site. The venue opens from 2pm on weekdays and 9am at weekends. Google reviewers rate it 4.3 from 170 reviews, and one review praises the stylish meeting area.
Parties and events at the venue
The meeting room suits birthday parties, presentation evenings, and community get-togethers, and the café bar is open to everyone on site. Kids' football parties run here too, combining pitch hire with party food afterwards. Leisure United have been refurbishing the site, so it is worth confirming what is open with them when you book your date.
What we can supply at Woodbourn Road
For children's parties, our most popular options include bouncy castles, disco domes with LED lights and Bluetooth speakers, and toddler play zones with soft play, ball pools, and mini slides, all set up on the outdoor hard standing beside the pitches. For football-mad kids, we also hire inflatable football pitches for the same space.
For adult parties and corporate events, consider a 360 photo booth, Batak Pro reaction game, Atari Pong table, or a selection from our arcade games range. If you are using the outdoor pitches for a fun day or team building event, we can supply assault courses, It's A Knockout packages, and sports inflatables.
Booking and practicalities
All hire includes delivery, setup, and collection. Our warehouse is in Rotherham, about 15 minutes from Woodbourn Road, and every booking comes with £5 million public liability insurance as standard, with risk assessments provided and every item PAT tested before it leaves us. We own 95% of our equipment in-house, so there are no subcontractors to worry about, and our Google rating stands at 5/5 from more than 200 reviews.
