Mobile Climbing Wall Hire in Glasgow
Hire a fully staffed 26ft climbing wall for your corporate event, team building day, or company fun day in Glasgow. Delivered from our Rotherham warehouse, around 4 hours north via the M1, A1(M), and M74.
Our mobile climbing wall stands 26ft tall with four straight faces at varying difficulty levels. An auto belay system on every line lowers each climber safely and automatically when they reach the top or let go — no manual rope work, no instructor on the line. Four people climb at once, giving you a throughput of around 60 climbers per hour on average and up to 80–100 at busy events. The auto belays mean climbers of all ages and builds can have a turn with just a short safety brief.
From £699 per day, the hire includes a trained crew who handle setup, safety briefings, harness fitting, and supervision throughout your event. You don't need to assign any of your own staff. Top rope instruction is also available on request if you want to add a more structured climbing session for confident climbers, but this needs to be pre-arranged when you book.
Fully Staffed Climbing Wall Hire
Every climbing wall hire comes with DB's trained supervising team as standard. They arrive with the wall, set up in around 30 minutes, and run the activity from start to finish. Each climber gets a safety briefing and is fitted with a harness and helmet before they start. Your team just turns up and climbs.
This matters for corporate events where you're already coordinating catering, AV, transport, and dozens of other moving parts. The climbing wall is one thing you can hand off completely. Our crew stays on site for the full duration and handles breakdown at the end.
Climbing Wall Hire for Glasgow Events
Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and one of the UK's busiest conference and exhibition destinations. Our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham connects to Glasgow in around 4 hours via the M1, A1(M), and M74. For multi-day hires or larger packages we deliver the day before your event and collect the day after, so the journey time doesn't affect your event schedule.
We deliver climbing walls to venues across Glasgow and central Scotland. Popular setup locations include the grounds at the Scottish Event Campus on the Clydeside, hotel lawns and car parks across the city centre and West End, business park sites along the M8 and M77 corridors, and country estates in Stirlingshire, Renfrewshire, and around Loch Lomond. We also cover Edinburgh, Stirling, and the rest of central Scotland on the same trip, which makes multi-site corporate fun days easier to coordinate.
DB Entertainment carries one of the UK's largest stocks of mobile climbing walls and we're a repeat supplier for corporate clients including Amazon, who've hired our climbing wall plus bungee trampolines combo for company fun days. With 25+ years operating mobile climbing walls and four walls in our own fleet, we can handle long-distance bookings, multi-day hires, and back-up cover without anything getting dropped.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does climbing wall hire cost in Glasgow?
Climbing wall hire starts from £699 per day, fully staffed. That includes a trained crew, all safety equipment, £5M public liability insurance, and delivery and collection. Delivery charges to Glasgow are higher than local South Yorkshire deliveries due to the distance, but for a team of 60 the wall still works out at less than £12 per head and everyone gets a turn in the first hour. We offer invoicing with payment terms for corporate bookings. Hit the green button to add the climbing wall to your quote, or call 0114 345 0135, and we'll come back to you the same day.
Do you deliver climbing walls to Glasgow?
Yes. Our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham is around 4 hours from Glasgow via the M1, A1(M), and M74. For multi-day hires or larger packages we deliver the day before and collect the day after your event, so the journey doesn't eat into your event schedule. We cover all G postcodes and the wider central Scotland area, and can combine a Glasgow delivery with Edinburgh or Stirling on the same trip. See our nationwide delivery page for more.
What documentation do you provide?
We email risk assessments, method statements, insurance certificates, and safety certificates to your venue before the event. Our £5M public liability insurance includes indemnity to principal cover when we supply staff, which means our insurance extends to cover you as the hiring client. Most hire companies don't offer this. If your procurement team or venue H&S team needs these documents during the quoting stage, we can send them straight away.
What space do I need for a climbing wall?
The access route to the setup area needs to be at least 2.8m (9ft) wide and 2.8m (9ft) high so the trailer can reach the spot. The wall sits on grass or hard standing. Most Glasgow events run the wall outdoors — conference centre grounds, hotel car parks, business park lawns, country estates, and event fields all work fine. For indoor use you need a tall venue: an arena or large conference hall with the headroom to clear the 26ft (7.9m) standard wall, or the 22ft (6.6m) Enterprise model for slightly tighter ceilings. If you're not sure your space fits, send us the dimensions and we'll check it for you before you book.
Can I book other activities alongside the climbing wall?
Yes. We carry over 600 products across 68 categories. Popular corporate pairings include the Batak Pro, Strike a Light, fun food stalls, and generators. One supplier, one invoice, one point of contact for your whole event. The longer delivery distance to Glasgow makes multi-item bookings even better value, since the delivery cost per item comes down.
What happens in bad weather?
The climbing wall operates in light rain. Outdoor use is rated to wind Force 5 (around 17–21 mph) — if winds pick up beyond that, our crew can lower the wall as a safety precaution. If conditions mean we need to stand down the wall entirely, we'll discuss alternatives with you on the day. For events where Scottish weather is a concern, the wall can be set up indoors instead at venues with the headroom to take it — arenas, large conference halls, and sports centres usually have the clearance.
