Roller Bowler is the classic two-lane carnival hump game, set up head-to-head on a trestle table. Both players stand at the same end with a red or black ball each, roll up the raised rail together, and try to leave the ball sitting on the far side of the hump without it rolling back. Too soft and it stalls on the hump - too hard and it overshoots the backboard and returns to you. It's six foot long, two foot wide and a foot tall, sits on a 6ft trestle, and runs without power.
Most players need three or four goes to judge the pace. It's harder than it looks from across the room. You'll also hear it called the Bowler Roller, Roll a Bowler or ball roll game, depending on who you ask.
Where it works
The tabletop footprint suits exhibition stands and trade-show floors where bigger games won't fit. It sits equally well at corporate events, private parties, birthdays, school and university events, church and charity events, freshers fairs, pub nights and fun days. We deliver from our Rotherham warehouse - five minutes off the A1, M1 and M18 - across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop, Chesterfield and the wider East Midlands. We're on regular runs to London, Birmingham, Manchester and the NEC for larger packages.
