Our Giant Operation is a life-size take on the classic Operation board game, also known as Saw Bones. The fibreglass patient has ten cavities across his body, each holding an ailment: Adam's Apple, Tennis Elbow, Butterflies in the Tummy and more. Lift the parts out with the oversized tweezers, but touch the edge of a cavity and the buzzer sounds, his red nose lights up and the piece drops.
A turn runs against a 60-second clock with three lives, fun sound effects and a digital timer, so it's easy to run a fastest-surgeon competition on a score leader board.
Where it gets hired
We take it to exhibition stands, trade fairs, conferences, parties and corporate events more than anywhere else, and it has a strong pull for medical students, NHS staff and care workers. We staffed it for a medical students' and junior doctors' event at the University of Manchester, where it filled the breaks and the slot after the speeches, running on a score board for the quickest player of the day. At a football-themed party at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium it went out alongside our IPS Podium Challenge and Interactive Football Challenge.

Make it yours
The ailments can be swapped for pieces that match your trade: medical instruments for NHS and pharmaceutical events, spanners and spark plugs for the motor industry, coins and credit cards for finance. The table skirt takes your logo as a full-colour print, produced and fitted by our in-house branding team.
Practical bits
The game measures 1.7m long, 0.9m wide and 1.1m high, and children and adults can both play. It plays indoors all year round; outdoors it needs to be under cover, because the buzzer, lights and timer are electronics that have to stay dry. No power socket where you want it? We hire generators.
We've supplied exhibition games for over 20 years from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Chesterfield and the rest of South Yorkshire are our home patch, West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester are just up the road, and larger bookings take us nationwide, the North East included, with regular runs to the NEC Birmingham and ExCeL London. The game is our own stock, so there's no third party to chase if anything needs sorting, and every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance with risk assessments emailed to your venue before the event.
